Residents of the following states are provided with consular services at the Embassy of Pakistan Berlin.

a) Attestation of a legal / official document
- Documents from Pakistan must be attested by the relevant authorities/Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Documents from Germany must be attested by the relevant authorities/departments and by a
Notary public.
The following documents are to be provided for attestation purposes:
- The applicant has to appear in person for the attestation.
- The applicant should provide a copy of valid Ausweis/aufenthaltstitel.
- If the executant of the Power of Attorney/Authority Letter is a German National without valid POC, the document has to be first notarized by Notary Public (Notar) in Germany.
- The applicant’s signature should be counter signed by two Pakistani witnesses in Germany.
- Applicant should provide a copy of the passport or I.D. Card of the two witnesses (Valid CNIC/NICOP or POC holders and not the immediate family members).
- Original document along with its photocopy.
- Photograph of the executant (to be affixed on the Power of Attorneyfor attestation)
- Photograph of the witness (to be affixed on the Power of Attorneyfor attestation)
- The attestation fee for documents (as per fee chart below) should be deposited in Commerz Bank account No.2667897, BLZ 10040000 (IBAN DE26 1004 0000 0266 7897 00, BIC COBADEFFXXX). Original bank transfer slip should be attached to the document.
- For the attestation purpose, all Pakistani documents i.e. educational degrees/nikah namma/marriage certificate, divorce certificate, birth certificate etc should be attested through Ministry of Foriegn Affairs, Pakistan.
- Copy of land registries.
b) Attestation of a commercial document
- For any kind of commercial document submitted by the German firms, it should be first attested by a Notary public (Notar) and then by Praesident des Landgerichts or Industrie- und Handelskammer.
- The attestation fee of €43 per document should be deposited in Commerz Bank account No.2667897, BLZ 10040000 (IBAN DE26 1004 0000 0266 7897 00, BIC COBADEFFXXX). Original bank transfer slip should be attached to the document.
- Einschreiben (Registered Return envelope) with prepaid postal stamp.
