Position Holder Pakistani Students Visit Pak Embas
A 45-member delegation of Position-Holder Pakistani Students visited the Pakistan Embassy and called on Ambassador Syed Hasan Javed. They were briefed by the Head of Chancery, Mr. Sajjad Haider Khan about Pakistan Germany relations in the field of education and the different German scholarship programmes for the international students desiring education in Germany. While speaking to the students, the Ambassador said that education was the basic ingredient for a real development of a country. He said, Pakistan has been endowed with abundant natural resources and it needs a large contingent of skillful, educated and trained human resource for exploiting these natural resources for the benefit of people of Pakistan. The Ambassador hoped that the exposure of talented students from Pakistan to developed countries and observance of change and development in this part of the world would be beneficial to them. The Head of the delegation, Prof. Dr. Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Government College University, Lahore thanked the Ambassador and officials of the Embassy for warmly welcoming the delegates. A Booklet containing information for foreign students about education in Germany was also distributed on this occasion.The delegation also took a round of the Exhibition of Islamic Calligraphic Art organized by the Embassy.
