The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan addressed a seminar at the Cultural Diplomacy Institute (ICD) in Berlin. The event was attended by large number of Kashmiri and Pakistani communities in Berlin.
The Prime Minister highlighted the ongoing crisis in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) with lingering curfew and the unabated killing/injuring of innocent Kashmiri people by the Indian Occupation Forces. He added that Indian Occupation Forces, while crossing all the limits, are using pallet guns due to which many people have been left completely blind while others have sustained serious eye-injuries.
The AJK Prime Minister also briefed the audience about the unprovoked and frequent violations of cease fire by the Indian Forces at the International Border/Line of Control (LoC) due to which many civilians, including women and children, have been killed while scores of people have been injured. He said that India is doing everything to escalate the situation but Pakistan has shown a complete restraint while giving a befitting response to the unprovoked Indian aggression.
The Prime Minister said that the dispute of Jammu & Kashmir is the oldest unresolved issue on the agenda of the United Nations. He said that whenever people of IOK will be provided a chance of plebiscite, they will surely choose to side with Pakistan as it is their natural choice.
The Ambassador Mr. Jauhar Saleem hosted a dinner for the visiting dignitary where German intelligentsia was also invited.
